Diamond Whisky

Whisky type
Blended whisky/Pure Malt

Review by Nonjatta contributor - Dramtastic:

"Diamond Whisky (Kyowa Hakko Kogyo). 43 percent alcohol.
Nose: Red apples, sawdust, malt, sugared grapefruit, vanilla, biscuity; Scotch-like.
Palate: Chunky malt, vanilla, fruit jubes; a little oily.
Finish: Short, malty, sweet and oily.
General comment: Solid whisky with no peaks or troughs.
Rating: 80/100" (Dramtastic's ratings explained.)

Nonjatta note: It is not clear from the label whether this is a blend or a vatted malt. Any further thoughts/info on classification from readers are invited.

The only thing i see written on the label is blended with the finest malt. Maybe Horigami-san is the man to clarify?
